Welcome to the Koken CMS community!

Here at KCS, you will find a friendly bunch of photographers who like to share their love for the Koken CMS. We hope that you will enjoy your time here and thrive in our community!

You asked for it: Donations!
You asked for it, and it's here: The possibility to "buy me a beer (or more)"!

Seriously: By giving a small paypal donation you will help with keeping this site afloat and also give me more incentive to develop OxyGen further... ;)

Re: What happened to the koken? :(

5006 Do you guys know any alternatives with similar functionality, ease of use and LR plugin? No - however of those I've come across X3 Photo Gallery is perhaps closest in the low cost range ($75 / $150) but not as functional, and Sytist in the higher cost range ($289 one-off self-hosted / $38/mont...

Re: Tips on koken hosts

Not cheap (from €8/month shared hosting), but Koken runs very smoothly for me on Yoorshop ( https://www.yoorshop.hosting/?language=english ). As well as good service, the base package includes 2GB memory + 20 GB NVMe SSD 3D + LiteSpeed + Nginx + SSH + SSL + VPN + GD + imagick + cPanel + choice of IP...

Google 'Mobile Usability issues' (content wider than screen, elements too close)

After >3 years on Koken (original Axis theme), Google has just flagged up two alleged issues with my site: 1) Content wider than screen 2) Clickable elements too close together Well on Google's Chrome Android browser (as well as the Samsung, LG and Firefox Android browsers) all the content is within...

Re: Alternate Contact Form? Topic is solved

Until the native contact form arrived, I used A simple contact form for Koken.
Once set up (see my comment below the article, if you choose to try it) it worked without problems.

Re: Speed & PHP, Spinners & Loopback Connections Topic is solved

Well further testing proved inconclusive. On uploading a full test site on a subdomain - twice - everything worked as expected from the start. And testing on the main site showed that it is now working as expected too. Which is great news as shifting hosts has taken way more time than I'd expected. ...

Re: Speed & PHP, Spinners & Loopback Connections Topic is solved

Well, I may have found a workaround for both the API/loopback issue and the spinners - though so far I've only tried this on the test site. While hunting for potential solutions I came across this post: https://www.lima-city.de/thread/loopback-connections-erlaubt-cms-koken - in German. Putting this ...

Re: Speed & PHP, Spinners & Loopback Connections Topic is solved

Hi Chris (and others) This is shared hosting, but not with OVH. The technical details are: From cPanel: Apache Version: 2.4.27 PHP Version: 7.0.21 (probably reported incorrectly - I selected v7.1 and Koken reports that it's 7.1.8) MySQL Version: 10.1.24-MariaDB-cll-lve Architecture: x86_64 Operating...

Speed & PHP, Spinners & Loopback Connections Topic is solved

Hello After a couple of years without problems I've just changed host and come across a few issues. Speed changes pages After moving hosts my site was very slow when moving between different pages - up to 20 seconds. My hosting was on an unimpressive shared server, my new hosting features SSD, LiteS...
