Welcome to the Koken CMS community!

Here at KCS, you will find a friendly bunch of photographers who like to share their love for the Koken CMS. We hope that you will enjoy your time here and thrive in our community!

You asked for it: Donations!
You asked for it, and it's here: The possibility to "buy me a beer (or more)"!

Seriously: By giving a small paypal donation you will help with keeping this site afloat and also give me more incentive to develop OxyGen further... ;)

Re: ContaCt form Topic is solved

Every single future update of the contact form plugin affects your custom edits and will overwrite them. If you create a copy, you'll have to merge updates yourself manually into your copy... :ugeek: this will be real fun

Re: Beginners section

Our forum sections are open for all kinds of koken users no matter of their experience level.

Your specific question belongs to the library section. If you are unsure which one to choose just post it and a moderator will move it if necessary ;)

Re: Domain setup for Managed Koken Topic is solved

Your DNS is set up as follows: *.watcher24.photo points to 104.131.191.159 which is your managed koken. watcher24.photo points to a different IP and thus a different server. Both records have to point to the same IP address if you want to make your site reachable under http://watcher24.photo and und...

Re: Managed @Koken is here, and I have tested it

Hi watcher24 , welcome to KCS! As soon as you have a self hosted koken up and running, updating is a breeze. As soon as an update is available, you just have to do one click and you're done. On the one hand Koken's support leaves room for improvement, that's for sure. On the other hand is koken's us...

Re: Restore originals picture after loosing files

3427 this is not my request in this thread. Alright, I was talking about the future since imho you're missing the big advantage of containers and virtualized servers. But that is of course your call. ;) Regarding your request, I will not be at help since your request is too special to invest my tim...

Re: Reply Emails After Koken Contact Form Submission Topic is solved

3413 It seems to me that when you develop web software and don't take into account the largest hosting provider in the world (in market share), then if there are problems, you can't blame it all on the hosting. :) I see your point, but if you'd get into server administration you'd see my point. The...

Re: Restore originals picture after loosing files

What about restoring a backup?

If there's none available, you may consider creating snapshots of your docker container for the future... takes some time to set it up, but saves you hours in a worst case scenario. :ugeek:

Re: Reply Emails After Koken Contact Form Submission Topic is solved

They need to add an asterisk next to the "Free Download" on the Koken website. The download may be free, but it really costs you after that... RB You're blaming the wrong people for your issues. With koken you get a software that took 10.000's of hours to develop for free! And of course t...

No, I did not have any issues like this. Did you change any permissions before the update? Or did you create (sub) folders?

Re: Koken Contact Form Topic is solved

   You've got to love GoDaddy's support. The form users address should never be the from-address. Instead it should be set as the reply-to-address as the endpoints plugin does. To set a different from-address in the endpoints plugin's settings panel, you have to modify the plugins cod...

Re: Downloadbutto beside albums Topic is solved

Those buttons should disappear as soon as you set your albums/images as not downloadable in your library. If you use the Lightroom plugin you can do that in LR and republish the album(s).

Re: PHP Code For Email Link Topic is solved

Try this: <p>Don't like form email? <a href="mailto:mail@example.org">Try this! mail@example.org</a> </p> Go to your contact page in your console and click on the <> icon at the bottom. Paste code, save and publish. Plain html markup as it has ever worked before ;)
