Here at KCS, you will find a friendly bunch of photographers who like to share their love for the Koken CMS. We hope that you will enjoy your time here and thrive in our community!

You asked for it: Donations!
You asked for it, and it's here: The possibility to "buy me a beer (or more)"!

Forum rules
As of late, we have been seeing cases where some of you have been posting multiple types of questions within a singular type of topic...

This makes searching here a nightmare for people whom are attempting to find out whether or not their question has already been asked, or possibly even answered. Therefore, I would like to implement some very basic rules, which I think everybody will be happy with, given that they will lead to better search results.

  1. All public communication is done in English
  2. ONE question per topic
  3. Make the title descriptive
  4. If it's regarding a theme: make sure you mention the theme name.
  5. Leave a URL to your site, since sometimes, custom "hacks" and CSS will be uniqe to your site.

I believe that these simple rules will not only make our lives easier, but also the lives of our visitors :D

I am of the opinion that ignoring these requests will make it harder for us all.
Plus, we won't be able to actually mark an issue/topic as solved, since it would be more difficult to determine what we're actually trying to solve! For example: Are we addressing the first, second or third question?

Lightroom Plugin

Postby JuanCarlosHerediaMayer » Sat 24 Sep 2016, 13:16

I'm trying to upload some photos from the LR plugin, and getting this error
"An internal error has occurred: [string "KokenAPI.lua"]:245: attempt to concatenate field 'content' (a nil value)"
Any idea why is it happening?

Hi.

I'm sorry to say that this is something we cant help with, we have covered the problems and shortcomings of the current Lightroom Publishing Plugin both here at KCS and on help.koken.me :o
In short, it's more of luck if you have it working :cry:

I wish I hade the skills to rewrite the plugin, but I don't: so we are left with either waiting on Koken fixing it or that someone with the right skills helps out and rewrite it.
I personally would happily pay for a working Lightroom Publishing Plugin!

Oh no, it's a shame to hear that. This is the main reason I decided to move to koken. What I don't understand is why it works in a local install but now in the live site.

Yep, that was one of the "selling points for me to" :cry:

Especially since I'm a lazy ¤%&#¤ that want to have the whole workflow right inside Lightroom :roll:

But I know that fixing the LR plugin is a high priority issue for NO/Koken, so rest assure it will be fixed...
Question is just how long we will be forced to wait...

Re: Lightroom Plugin

I fixed it myself doing a little research on the plugin code.
As I said it worked for me in my local test site but not online. It was because my online site using a SSL certificate.

As you should know, Lightroom catalog is a SQLite database, so you can open it with any SQLite browser and in order to fix it I had to go edit the record on "agLibraryPublishedCollectionContent" table, column "content", wich has a text like this:

Code: Select all

s = {
   ["com.koken.lightroom.export.koken_path"] = "www.jchmfoto.com",
   ["com.koken.lightroom.export.koken_secret"] = "",
   ["com.koken.lightroom.export.koken_token"] = "xxxxxxba0e350e0a413737d90bc357b16xxxx",
   .............
        .............
}

then add a line to specify the https protocol, so it will be something like this:

Code: Select all

s = {
   ["com.koken.lightroom.export.koken_path"] = "www.jchmfoto.com",
        ["com.koken.lightroom.export.koken_protocol"] = "https",
   ["com.koken.lightroom.export.koken_secret"] = "",
   ["com.koken.lightroom.export.koken_token"] = "xxxxxxba0e350e0a413737d90bc357b16xxxx",
   .............
        .............
}

I hope it helps until the LR plugin developers fix it.

I fixed that bug in the plugin and sent the changes to NetObjects.
Hopefully they release a new plugin soon.

Wow! That was fast. From both Christian and NetObjects.

If we'd elect a member of the year, my vote would go to Christian.
