Uninstalling Email Endpoints Plugin

Questions or issues regarding any Koken plugin.
Support for Paid/premium plugins can be found here
Forum rules
As of late, we have been seeing cases where some of you have been posting multiple types of questions within a singular type of topic...

This makes searching here a nightmare for people whom are attempting to find out whether or not their question has already been asked, or possibly even answered. Therefore, I would like to implement some very basic rules, which I think everybody will be happy with, given that they will lead to better search results.

  1. All public communication is done in English
  2. ONE question per topic
  3. Make the title descriptive
  4. If it's regarding a theme: make sure you mention the theme name.
  5. Leave a URL to your site, since sometimes, custom "hacks" and CSS will be uniqe to your site.

I believe that these simple rules will not only make our lives easier, but also the lives of our visitors :D

I am of the opinion that ignoring these requests will make it harder for us all.
Plus, we won't be able to actually mark an issue/topic as solved, since it would be more difficult to determine what we're actually trying to solve! For example: Are we addressing the first, second or third question?

Uninstalling Email Endpoints Plugin

Postby rbaring » Thu 10 Aug 2017, 03:57

Today, in the endless saga of getting form email to work with Koken and GoDaddy, I finally had a GoDaddy tech change the MX record. Immediately, the Email Endpoint plugin and Settings>Email malfunctioned (I had Koken open to settings at the time.) On the Email page, the drop down list omitted SMTP, and after going back in after restarting Koken, the drop down list itself disappeared for several restarts. And on the Plugins page under Email Endpoints, the drop down list is stuck on Mandrill, which I have never used, with the rest of the form being broken.

So........I thought after several restarts and plugin reinstalls that I'd uninstall the plugin and try again...but I can't figure out how to uninstall it. I can't find a mention of uninstalling a plugin in either NObjects help or KCS. Or reinstalling Koken itself.

So if anyone (probably Bjarne, sorry) can direct me to the next chapter on my saga, please let me know.

Thanks,

RB

UPDATE:

Well 6 hours later, the plugin seems to be working with Settings>Email and Plugins>Email Endpoints Plugin behaving normally.
And I'm happy to say that...

Just kidding, my email form still doesn't work. But at least (I hope) I don't have to reinstall Koken...again.

Bjarne, Chris, I'm ready for that Premium Support magic again. Bjarne still has my login details at GoDaddy. Will put in a ticket if you wanna try to fix it.

Thanks,

RB

UPDATE 2

And now today, Settings>Plugins>Email Endpoints is again stuck on Mandrill and the form to put in Mandrill/SMTP credentials again is broken.

Putting in a Premium Support ticket...
