Welcome to the Koken CMS community!

Here at KCS, you will find a friendly bunch of photographers who like to share their love for the Koken CMS. We hope that you will enjoy your time here and thrive in our community!

You asked for it: Donations!
You asked for it, and it's here: The possibility to "buy me a beer (or more)"!

Seriously: By giving a small paypal donation you will help with keeping this site afloat and also give me more incentive to develop OxyGen further... ;)

I Just Donated $100 to KCS, Who's Next?

Postby rbaring » Thu 24 Aug 2017, 00:02

I think we can all agree that all things Koken are not as easy as we first thought when we first clicked that "Download Koken" button. We spend sometimes more than a little time with the KCS team to get our issues fixed...

Wouldn't you be willing to pay a little more to save all that time and frustration? Well, Chris and Bjarne are real people and their time isn't any more free than yours is, even though often their help to us often is. How about giving them a little boost?

I just sent them $100 and I'm not rich. But if we all did this think what that could do? And they deserve it and it is an investment in your website that you depend on. And if we could do this regularly, just think what we could do:

1) Buy out Koken from Net Objects. They're not making anything on it anyway.
2) Finance new themes and plugins. You know, the kind that work the KCS way.
3) Create a Koken company that would make Koken into the best CMS for photographers in the world, something they'd be willing to pay for.
4) What's your idea?

Bjarne and Chris had no idea I was going to post this.

Thanks,

RB

I'm blushing here behind the keyboard Robert :!: :)
Thank your for your very kind words; and your generous donation! 8-)

Well, this might not be so easy ;)
Steve is holding on to Koken with both hands
And it is actually generating "some" revenue for NetObjects :geek:

I'm not allowed to disclose this; but there is a new theme coming from us here on KCS :!: 8-)
So pretty soon KCS will have two themes available in the store!

Good. Look forward to seeing the new theme. Maybe someone like me could canvass the others to ask for donations. I'm sure people would be willing to part with a little cash for the sake of their websites if nothing else. They can't expect a totally free support regime forever, especially if Koken grows in users, no?

Lemme know,

RB
