Questions or issues regarding Koken themes.
Forum rules
As of late, we have been seeing cases where some of you have been posting multiple types of questions within a singular type of topic...

This makes searching here a nightmare for people whom are attempting to find out whether or not their question has already been asked, or possibly even answered. Therefore, I would like to implement some very basic rules, which I think everybody will be happy with, given that they will lead to better search results.

  1. All public communication is done in English
  2. ONE question per topic
  3. Make the title descriptive
  4. If it's regarding a theme: make sure you mention the theme name.
  5. Leave a URL to your site, since sometimes, custom "hacks" and CSS will be uniqe to your site.

I believe that these simple rules will not only make our lives easier, but also the lives of our visitors :D

I am of the opinion that ignoring these requests will make it harder for us all.
Plus, we won't be able to actually mark an issue/topic as solved, since it would be more difficult to determine what we're actually trying to solve! For example: Are we addressing the first, second or third question?

[Custom Theme]

Postby supermike95 » Wed 13 Jun 2018, 15:21

Hey there!

In the library I have the following structure:

2 (Head) Sets. In those 2 sets are each 2 (Sub) Sets. In the Subsets are each 2 Albums:

SetA:Set1:Album1 = A.1.1
SetA:Set1:Album2 = A.1.2
SetA:Set2:Album1 = A.2.1
SetA:Set2:Album2 = A.2.2

SetB:Set1:Album1 = B.1.1
SetB:Set1:Album2 = B.1.2
SetB:Set2:Album1 = B.2.1
SetB:Set2:Album2 = B.2.2

Now when I push Set A in the navigation, it opens SetA which contains Set1 and Set2 of SetA.
But I want it to display all of the Albums (A.1.1;A.1.2;A.2.1;A.2.2). They should be ordered in 2 Columns:
A1.1 and A.1.2 in the first column and A2.1 and A2.2 in the second one.

The same thing I want it to do, when I click Set B in the Navigation bar. I could figure out how to do it with no variables, but there must be a way to do with with variables, so I don't have to write the Code each time I add a new Head-Set with Subsets (and Albums).

How can I access this path? Is it possible to change the "set" theme into working that way or do I have to write a custom one? Is there a way to stack "koken:load" or something?

Appreciate your help!

Not sure if I follow your thinking here, but I cant see any way to display a subset's album in the parent set... :shock:

So I found a workaround:

The Structure:
Parent Set (assigned with 5 categories) -> All Albums (each assigned to one of 5 categories (category replaces subset)

The Code:

Code: Select all

    <koken:loop seperator ", ">
        <koken:load source="album" filter:category="{{category.title}}">
