Store throws 403 error

Error messages, failures, broken content.
Forum rules
As of late, we have been seeing cases where some of you have been posting multiple types of questions within a singular type of topic...

This makes searching here a nightmare for people whom are attempting to find out whether or not their question has already been asked, or possibly even answered. Therefore, I would like to implement some very basic rules, which I think everybody will be happy with, given that they will lead to better search results.

  1. All public communication is done in English
  2. ONE question per topic
  3. Make the title descriptive
  4. If it's regarding a theme: make sure you mention the theme name.
  5. Leave a URL to your site, since sometimes, custom "hacks" and CSS will be uniqe to your site.

I believe that these simple rules will not only make our lives easier, but also the lives of our visitors :D

I am of the opinion that ignoring these requests will make it harder for us all.
Plus, we won't be able to actually mark an issue/topic as solved, since it would be more difficult to determine what we're actually trying to solve! For example: Are we addressing the first, second or third question?

Store throws 403 error

Postby marypo » Sun 30 Dec 2018, 20:38

Hi, some days ago I changed my Koken login and store email address. Everything was fine only the store page inside my koken installation started throwing a 403 error since and I can't update or purchase anymore. Changing my email address back did not help. Is anyone out there who knows what to do??????

So what's your issue?

Did you tried to restore a backup or fix from phpadmin?

Hi, I only have an older backup that I don't want to use to restore in order to keep my changes. Everything works fine except the store page. I will have a look into phpadmin, maybe I can change my login credentials there. Will report if it's worked.

Thanks for caring and a happy new year!

Thank you for your prompt reply!

The issue is that I cannot load the store page in my Koken backend since I have changed my Koken Store login. I get a 403 error page instead. I thought maybe the new store login credentials were not properly saved to my Koken database. So I had a look into it (phpmyadmin) but could not find a corresponding entry.

I think You need to check in phpadmin or through ftp.

I forgot where to look in for login details. But I'll check on my server and will let you know.
