Issues with GDPR Cookie Consent

Questions or issues regarding any Koken plugin.
Support for Paid/premium plugins can be found here
Forum rules
As of late, we have been seeing cases where some of you have been posting multiple types of questions within a singular type of topic...

This makes searching here a nightmare for people whom are attempting to find out whether or not their question has already been asked, or possibly even answered. Therefore, I would like to implement some very basic rules, which I think everybody will be happy with, given that they will lead to better search results.

  1. All public communication is done in English
  2. ONE question per topic
  3. Make the title descriptive
  4. If it's regarding a theme: make sure you mention the theme name.
  5. Leave a URL to your site, since sometimes, custom "hacks" and CSS will be uniqe to your site.

I believe that these simple rules will not only make our lives easier, but also the lives of our visitors :D

I am of the opinion that ignoring these requests will make it harder for us all.
Plus, we won't be able to actually mark an issue/topic as solved, since it would be more difficult to determine what we're actually trying to solve! For example: Are we addressing the first, second or third question?

Hmmm, strange...
Did you upload the GDPR-Cookie-Consent folder that was inside the GDPR-Cookie-Consent-v1.1.0, or did you perhaps rename the GDPR-Cookie-Consent with some dot(.) in the name?

Adding (.) to a plugins directory name, makes Koken loose track of it :ugeek:

Good to hear @faustvasea97 ! 8-)

What was the problem?
faustvasea97 wrote:Source of the post but there's an other issue.

What kind of issue is this? :shock:
faustvasea97 wrote:Source of the post Is possible to delete ''GDPR Cookie Consent for Koken'' ?

To remove it, you only need to deactivate it, and FTP/SFTP in to the server and remove it from the /storage/plugins/ directory
faustvasea97 wrote:Source of the postthe design need to be improved a bit

Well, it's a v1.1 ;)
So there is "some room left" for it to be developed further hehe ;)

Do you have any suggestions? :ugeek:

I mean can I delete the copyright of plugin which show on the bottom "GDPR Cookie Consent for Koken" when appears on website?

If it's possible to make the text a bit bigger and module itself.

Have you tried yourself the pluging?

Ahhh, yes.
You can use some custom CSS for that one ;)

Code: Select all

/* Hide the GDPR "Built by" section */
#gdpr_alert .copy {
   display: none;
}

faustvasea97 wrote:Source of the post If it's possible to make the text a bit bigger and module itself.

This is also a job for some custom css:

Code: Select all

/* Change the GDPR box width */
#gdpr_alert {
   max-width: 20em;
}
/* Change the GDPR title size */
#gdpr_alert h1 {
   font-size: 2em;
}
/* Change the GDPR body text size */
#gdpr_alert p {
   font-size: 1em;
}

Erm, what do you mean now? :shock:

It's been running on Baldur's Photography for "a while" now... :geek:
Hence the v1.1.0 tag... :ugeek:

And it's pretty well tested both on desktop, as well as smaller devices.... :roll:

There's a bug with the custom CSS, when I press ''OK'' the plugin does not answer to request and website is getting stuck. :( :(

The CSS does nothing that can interfere with the Admin, so I dont think this is related to your problems...

This part of your "custom CSS" :o

Needs to be moved in to the HTML Injectors header section.

The Custom CSS is for CSS only :?

I've deleted the google CSS, the issue still remains.

Anyway, leave it, I won't use it.

Make life easier.
